Cap of rump with honey, ginger and onion rings
1 piece of Mondelli Alimentos cap of rump (1,5kg)
2 cups of tea of meat broth
3 soup spoons of honey
½ cup of tea of brandy
2 soup spoons of grated ginger
3 mashed garlic cloves
1 grated onion
Pepper to taste
Sauce that formed on the baking dish
1 soup spoon of butter
½ cup of tea of meat broth
2 slice big onions
1 cup of tea of flour
¼ cup of tea of starch
Salt to taste
¾ cup fo tea of cold beer
Oil to fry
1- In a bowl, mix the meat broth, the honey, the brandy, the ginger, the garlic, the onion and the pepper
2- Put the beef in a serving dish, season with the preparation above, cover with plastic and leave into the fridge for 30 minutes.
3- Transfer the beef to a baking dish, put the season over it, cover with aluminum paper and bake in pre-heated oven at 220ºC for an hour and 40 minutes.
4- Turn the meat occasionally to roast well.
5- Prepare the sauce: in a pan, add the sauce that formed in the baking dish, the butter and the meat broth. Let it boil and take it out of the heat.
6- Prepare the onion rings: in a bowl, mix the flour, the starch, the egg, the salt and the beer.
7- Pass the sliced onion on this paste and fry in hot oil until they are brown. Serve the beef with the sauce and the onion rings.
